Machine Gun Kelly has been criticised for comments that he made about Kendall Jenner when she was just 17-years-old in a resurfaced interview. You can watch the conversation below and see what you think of it all.
Kelly, real name Colson Baker, has been making a whole heap of headlines recently for his often-unusual relationship with Megan Fox, with the pair recently announcing their engagement.
However, it’s an old interview that has set tongues wagging this time, after a TikTok user shared the ‘disturbing’ interview that he gave back in 2013 when he admitted to fancying Kendall Jenner quite a bit.
During the interview, filmed by Fuse TV, Kelly was asked: "Who was your first celebrity crush?"
He responded: "I don't care who my first celebrity crush was cause right now it's Kendall Jenner.
"God d**n I've said that so many motherf***ing times, I hope that I'm snagging that."
He then added: "Don't let me move to LA.
"Oof, I'm finding her."
Then, the creepiness was dialled up another notch when MGK was asked: "Are you counting down the days ‘til she's 18?"
He said: "I'm not waiting ‘til she's 18, I'll go now. I'm 23 dog I'm not like a creepy age you know.
"I'm 23, she's 17, and she's a celebrity, there is no limits right there."
The rapper then proceeded to list through a number of prominent musicians who reportedly were involved with girls who weren’t of legal age in the states, citing Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose and incorrectly naming Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant (it was actually guitarist Jimmy Page who reportedly dated a 14-year-old).
Kelly said: "I don't care. Say what you want man. If Kendall Jenner was in your bedroom naked and you're 50, you're going."
Naturally, not that many people share this opinion.
One person described MGK's comments as ‘disturbing’.
Another wrote: "It's the fact that he's done research to back his argument. This isn't the first time someone's told him it's not ok."
A third wrote: "Ughh it got worse the longer he spoke."
Someone else said: "23 and 17 is ILLEGAL."
Well, that’s certainly true.
LADbible has contacted a representative for Machine Gun Kelly for a comment.
More recently, MGK and Megan Fox have been generating headlines that are equally as bizarre.
They’ve claimed that they ‘drank each other’s blood’ and sealed their engagement with a ring that features gilded thorns that is supposed to ‘hurt’ if taken off.
