MrBeast hasn't become a multi-millionaire by accident and the YouTuber isn't afraid of letting us in on his secrets.

The YouTuber - whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson - has a whopping 108 million subscribers on YouTube, with millions more on other platforms.

It was announced at the start of the year that the 24-year-old officially became the platform's highest earning YouTuber in history.

His net worth is currently reported to be in the region of $25 million (£21.9 million).

According to Forbes, Donaldson earned a reported $54 million (£39.5 million) in 2021, with his net worth currently reported to be in the region of $25 million (£21.9 million).

Featured in a recent interview with FULL SEND PODCAST, MrBeast let us in on his secret YouTube formula.

Back when MrBeast was just starting to get decent numbers on YouTube, he would receive semi-decent brand deals as a reward.

His first brand deal was worth $5,000 (£4,400), which is nothing compared to what he's on now, and instead of splashing the cash, he thought of a brilliant way of getting more views.

The YouTuber would smartly give his brand deal money away to a stranger and video himself doing so.

MrBeast explained: "So the first time I got a brand deal is 10 grand, well it's five grand, and I was like double it and I'll go give it away.

"So I literally I just gave away all my brand deals every single time I got one so I did that and the next time.

"I just literally, I would just do a brand deal give it away and then the next brand deal was bigger and I just did that for like two years straight."

When asked 'what's the most money you've ever given away to one person?', the YouTuber replied: "Uh probably like a million or two million."

According to Forbes, Donaldson earned a reported $54 million (£39.5 million) in 2021.

MrBeast also said that people nowadays 'won't understand' how difficult it was to convince the world that you could make a living by being a YouTuber.

He said: "It's like that was like insane and people won't understand it's just a different time now, like it's cool to be a YouTuber now, it's like it's known we make money, how we make money everything.

"Back then you would have to like have f**king five-hour arguments 100 days in a row just to convince your mom that YouTube is a thing, you know, which you just don't have to do anymore.

"It was just a different time for us."
