Mum Is Constantly Mistaken For Margot Robbie And Stopped In The Street

Amanda Hall, 39, sees it as the ‘biggest compliment ever’ to be compared to the A-lister, who she has ‘always loved’

A mum has revealed how she is regularly stopped in the street by strangers, who mistake her for Hollywood star Margot Robbie

Amanda Hall, 39, sees it as the ‘biggest compliment ever’ to be compared to the A-lister, who she has ‘always loved’.

Despite being seven years her senior, the mum-of-two now rakes in extra cash as a lookalike – donning blue contact lenses to add to the resemblance.

Fashion stylist Hall said: “I am an only child so Barbie was like my best friend growing up.

“So now, I am super excited to be able to dress up as Barbie and Margot Robbie at the same time.

“I have been stopped more than usual in the super market and pub since the film has been announced.

“I don’t mind at all though as it is the biggest compliment ever.

“I have always loved her so I’m super happy.”

Hall, from Norwich in Norfolk, said business as a lookalike is set to boom when the new Barbie film comes out next year, which also features Ryan Gosling as love interest Ken.

In fact, she already received almost 50 bookings in the last month off the back of Margot Robbie set photos.

She said: “It has been a great month for me.

"I have had plenty of bookings which include personalised video messages for birthdays and appearances at parties.

"I am very excited for the film to come out as I believe business will be booming."

Hall even spent £100 on a hot pink and blue outfit to replicate Robbie’s look in the snaps.

"It was really fun putting the outfits together,” she said, saying she managed to ‘pull it all together’ for under £100.

"I borrowed a bandana for my neck from a friend, and purchased a cow girl hat from Amazon.

"I wore some pink trousers, top and waist coat with white boots that I already had.”

She continued: "I’m into sustainable fashion so saved on costs when I can.

"I also purchased a striped blue and white top with a polka dot head band to replicate the car images."

“Then I recreated a photo of Margot in a car and wearing blue.

“A friend has a Morgan car so I just popped over to take some photos.

“I bet the neighbours were puzzled to see me dressed up as Barbie!”
