Margot Robbie has shown in her iconic roles Focus, Babylon, and now Wuthering Heights that she is willing to star in some pretty wild scenes.
Her appearance in Wuthering Heights saw her as the focus of a scene which some were speculated would be ‘more shocking’ than the viral Saltburn bathtub bonanza.
Even though many felt the Emerald Fennell romance ended up being a bit less out there than had been hinted by its marketing, many will still be revisiting some of Robbie’s most iconic roles.
Whilst she has starred in a number of brilliant films since then, you’d still argue that many still associate the Australian actor with one movie: The Wolf of Wall Street.

Though Barbie saw her receive the most awards success, The Wolf of Wall Street was Robbie's breakthrough role and was where she became a household name.

Robbie played ‘The Duchess’, aka Naomi Lapaglia, the mistress and later wife of Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jordan Belfort.
Of all the fairly raunchy scenes in the film though the most iconic was her performance in a nursery scene in which she teased Belfort after one of his drunken benders.
Without going into too much detail (if you’ve got this far you know the scene I’m talking about, stop pretending) the scene involves some pretty intimate moments even if there is no actual nudity in it.
Despite the real life woman who Naomi was based on, Dr Nadine Macaluso, revealing that it never happened in real life, her nursery room seduction and denial of Belfort has become one of the most well known ones from The Wolf of Wall Street.

The actor however spoke about how that scene was less than fun to film, describing how she felt ‘weird and embarrassed’ about it.
Robbie revealed that ‘although it doesn’t come across when you’re watching the movie’ the reality of filming it was that they were in a ‘tiny bedroom’ with ‘30 crew crammed in’.
Speaking to Porter Magazine, she stated that all 30 of the crew were men, and said: “For 17 hours I’m pretending to be touching myself.
“It’s just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and absurdity, really deep, and fully commit.”
In a newly released interview today, February 16, Robbie spoke about how she was surprised by how much she was actually in the film and wasn’t expecting to be such a big part of it.

Appearing on the Smartless podcast, she said she ‘hadn’t really braced herself for how much things would change’ after the movie came out.
Speaking about the film’s multiple racy scenes, she said that she wasn’t able to watch the film until the night before the premiere, adding: “I was like ‘oh sh*t my family is about to see this’.
“I organised a family and friends screening and I sat down and the credits started and I suddenly was like ‘oh my god I’m naked, I’m fully naked and they’re all about to see it’, I mean there’s scenes where we’re like having sex on a bed of cash. My brother is right next to me!”
She stated at the end of the screening her family were all ‘stunned’, calling the experience ‘uncomfortable’.
