Margot Robbie reveals new name a decade after marrying husband
People in the world of Hollywood are seemingly obsessed with changing their names and Margot Robbie is the latest on the list after a reported business decision with her husband.
The 36-year-old actress isn't quite following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus or Kanye West who have shortened their names in recent years in an attempt to re-brand their music.
She also isn't doing so for any sort of vengeful reason, as seems to be the case with some of the children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, several of whom have dropped Pitt from their last names in a show of support for their mother.
No, Margot's going down the more traditional route of taking her husband's last name, despite the two tying the knot over 10 years ago.

It seems as if it's for business rather than romantic reasons however, as Companies House published new documents confirming the change to Margot Ackerley this week.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news to any lads who thought they still might have a chance with the Barbie star but the Aussie actress has been married to handsome Englishman Tom Ackerley ever since 2016.
And as well as sharing a child together, with their son born back in October 2024, the lovebirds also run production firm LuckyChap Entertainment, something they started together two years before they were married.
The production company has gone on to produce some award-winning films including Saltburn and I, Tonya, for which Margot received an Oscar nomination for best actress back in 2017.
It was set up by Tom and Margot, as well as former housemates Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara, who lived with the couple in London after they initially met on the set of the Second World War movie Suite Francaise.
If the success of the production company wasn't already enough, then Margot establishing herself as one of the biggest names in Hollywood was sure to give her bank account a boost, with reports suggesting that she earned as much as £37 million from Barbie.
Although she will likely still go as Margot Robbie for her films and appearances on the red carpet, since her name is a crucial part of her own personal brand, it seems as if she might well have ditched her maiden name for good in her private life.
She rarely discusses her marriage to Tom in public but one thing they have admitted to fighting about is the incredibly important issue of whether Tim Tams or Penguin chocolate biscuits are better.
