Earlier this week, AC/DC announced a massive 2025 European tour with only one UK date up for grabs. The iconic rock band will perform at the Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium on 21 August, their first show in Scotland in 10 years.

Understandably, fans rushed to Ticketmaster in a desperate bid to get hold of tickets, but many were left empty-handed after queuing ‘for up to 40 minutes’ to find the page wouldn't load, with some claiming the site appeared to have 'crashed'.

After selling out on Ticketmaster, there's only one place to get hold of last-minute tickets. From ticket prices to tour dates, find out everything you need to know below...

If you have dosh to spend, then you can also get your hands on silver hospitality tickets on Seat Unique. You will be able to access the event two and a half hours beforehand with three drinks and food tokens included in the package. There will also be a live DJ and merchandise access. Tickets currently cost £529, so this is one for real fans. If you're keen, make sure to hurry, tickets won't last long.

Where is AC/DC performing this summer?

Since forming in the early 70s, AC/DC have become one of the world’s biggest rock bands. They hit the mainstream with smash record Highway to Hell in 1979 and have since released 18 studio albums in total.

Named after their 2020 album, the Power Up Tour is hitting the road this summer, but where are the Aussie legends heading?

You can find a full list of European tour dates below:

  • June 26: Prague, Airport Letnany
  • June 30: Berlin, Olympiastadion
  • July 4: Warsaw, PGE Narodowy
  • July 8: Düsseldorf, Open Air Park
  • July 12: Madrid, Metropolitano Stadium
  • July 20: Imola, Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari
  • July 24: Tallinn, Song Festival Grounds
  • July 28: Gothenburg, Ullevi
  • August 5: Oslo, Bjerke Racecourse

As you will have already noticed, the rock band are only visiting Scotland as part of their UK leg - and there’s a special reason why. Angus Young and his late brother Malcolm, who founded AC/DC in 1973, were born in Scotland before emigrating to Australia when they were children. The upcoming tour date marks the first time the band has performed in the Scottish capital in a whole decade.

In response to the backlash, Ticketmaster told LADbible: “The site did not crash. We always advise fans to make sure they only use one tab, clear their cookies, and do not use any VPN software on their device.”

Visit the StubHub now to find out more.
