There is nothing worse than an advert interrupting your favourite playlist, but the rising cost of music streaming subscriptions can be off-putting.

But music lovers have come across a hidden hack that will bag you a huge six months of Apple Music for only £2.99 (equivalent to just 50p a month).

For price reference, an Apple Music subscription currently costs £10.99 per month. So, that means you will save you a massive £48 over six months if you sign up to the deal.

The incredible offer will grant you access to over 100 million songs, even if you only listen to one on repeat, and you can download your favourite hits before getting the tube to work.

Apple Music will also recommend curated playlists to suit your tastes with over 30,000 ad-free playlists up for grabs. There’s a new real-time lyrics feature too, so that you won't forget your lines on the next karaoke night out.

If you've had enough of your own playlists, there's also the option to listen to live radio.

Once you've signed up, you can access your favourite tracks via Apple Music or iTunes on a range of streaming devices, whether that’s a smart TV, phone or gaming console.

You only have until 27 February to redeem the discount, so if you’re keen to save some dosh, then make sure to move fast. Scroll down now to find out everything you need to know.

So, how can you claim six months of Apple Music for only £2.99 now?

Follow the below steps to claim the limited-time deal:

  1. Open the Apple Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Make sure you’re running the latest software and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. The offer should pop up, but if it doesn’t, then head over to the ‘home’ tab.
  3. Tap ‘redeem now’ to start listening.

To be eligible for the offer, you must be a new subscriber. You won’t be able to claim the discount if you have previously subscribed to Apple Music or have snuck onto your parents' Apple Music family plan in the past.
