Foo Fighters have announced two 2026 UK shows, but fans are shocked by the surprising choice of venue.

In case you missed it, the American rockers are bringing their Take Cover Tour to this side of the pond next year.

They'll be in good company too with support acts, Royel Otis, Inhaler, Otoboke Beaver, and Die Spitz, joining them on the road.

The European run will kick off in Oslo, Norway on June 10 (2026), before the Everlong hitmakers head to the UK. But Brits are surprised by the choice of venue, as Foo Fighters are only playing two nights at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium on June 25 and 27.

"Liverpool? I was hoping for a bunch of dates in England," one fan wrote on Reddit. "Looks like I miss out again."

Another said, "It's really weird. Liverpool objectively isn't exactly a go-to place to visit in the UK, especially not for going to gigs and holidaying.

"London, Glasgow and Manchester tend to be the main places for concerts. I really don't get it. Plus, the UK loves the Foo Fighters, so why only one spot? As an American living in the UK, the only place I probably wouldn't go to see them is the only venue they have chosen."

A third said: "No London? That seems... bizarre. As someone from the south coast that doesn't drive, that pretty much prices me out."

Fans are hoping the US group will add extra tour dates further down the line, especially as they are reportedly free on the weekend of 2026 Leeds Festival (August 22 to 30).
