
Rumour has it that Foo Fighters are planning to take their Take Cover tour to Australia next summer, but if you don’t want to chance disappointment, then you can still snap up tickets to their Liverpool gigs instead.
On Monday (December 1), Frontier Touring teased the legendary US rock band’s first trip down under since 2023 by posting an image of the iconic 'FF' logo on a billboard above The Winston pub in Hobart.
If the reports are true, then it’ll be former Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin’s debut Aussie tour with the Foos.
But don’t book your flights just yet because the band haven’t actually confirmed any dates in the diary.

Who is supporting their Anfield shows?
The Foo Fighters have recruited some exceptional support bands to warm up the crowd on the UK leg of their Take Cover tour.
On the first evening (June 25), Japanese punk band Otoboke Beaver will take to the stage alongside indie rocker’s Inhaler.
Two days later, the Foos will follow Sydney pop duo Royel Otis and American alternative rock band Die Spitz.

Foo Fighters touch down in Anfield in 2026
The Grammy winning rockers are due to set up shop at Anfield Stadium, the home of Liverpool Football Club, on June 25 and again on June 27, 2026.
The concerts are part of the band’s global Take Cover Tour, which will also take them to cities around Europe, such as Paris and Milan.
Fans should be aware that the the two planned shows are the only UK stops on the upcoming tour.
Where else are Foo Fighters playing on tour next year?
The Foo Fighters’ 2026 European tour opens in Oslo, 2026 on June 10, before the band hits up Stockholm, Warsaw, Munich, and Paris.
Based in the US? The band plan to travel back for massive gigs in the likes of Detroit, Chicago, and Las Vegas in August 2026.
