Glastonbury 2024 lineup has been announced

The Glastonbury line-up has been confirmed.

Glastonbury has just announced its acts for 2024's staging of the popular music festival.

Tickets have already sold out, so festivalgoers committed to going before they knew who was playing.

Yes, it's that's time of year where everyone who actually managed to get tickets to Glastonbury finally gets to see the line-up and complain that it's not as good as it was in previous years.

I would joke that Glastonbury fans were saying 'that don't impress me much', but people have already been reacting to the line-up announcement and somebody beat me to it.

A couple of people joked that they'd now hit that age milestone where they'd 'never heard of one of the Glastonbury headliners'.

Others said they weren't that enthused by the line-up, though many of those were saying they were glad they didn't get tickets so perhaps they're trying to put a brave face on it.

So, the big acts this year are going to be Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA and Shania Twain.

One Glasto fan was a little more positive than most on the whole thing, saying 'Coldplay are decent live' and hoping it didn't rain on the people who'd be trekking into a muddy field in June for the festival.

Glastonbury has also promised 'so many more artists, stages and performance areas to be announced', so don't think this is all you'll be getting for your ticket.

If, of course, you actually managed to get a ticket.
