Glastonbury reveals ticket sale dates with the highest-ever price

Festival-goers better have their savings at the ready, as the ticket prices for Glastonbury 2027 have been revealed, as well as the date they'll be released for sale.

General admission tickets for the world-famous festival - which will be from Wednesday, 23 June until Sunday, 27 June, 2027 - will set punters back £408, including a £5 booking fee per ticket - an increase of £29.50 from 2025.

This is a notable rise from last year's pricing, with general admission tickets for the 2025 weekend being £378.50, including the booking fee.

Tickets will go on sale in October, meaning there's just one month to start scraping those pennies together and get prepared for the dreaded scramble to get tickets, seeing as the festival usually sells out within an hour.

In a post on Glastonbury's official Instagram page, organisers said tickets with coach travel would go on sale at 18:00 BST on Thursday, 1 October. General admission tickets will then go on sale a couple of days later, at 09:00 BST on Sunday, 4 October.

To prevent touting - the practice of buying festival tickets from an official seller and reselling them for a profit on the secondary market - tickets for Glastonbury are strictly non-transferable, the festival's website explains.

Each ticket will feature the photograph of the registered ticket holder, and security checks will be carried out to ensure that only the person in the photograph is admitted to the festival.

As usual with Glastonbury, the headliners and full lineup are yet to be revealed, and this is expected to be announced in early 2027.

Following up from last year's headliners The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, Glastonbury Tips has predicted the likes of Harry Styles, Madonna, Sam Fender and Oasis.

But as Glastonbury-goers will know, predictions and rumours don't always turn out to be true, so we'll just have to wait and see what the festival has in store for us next year.
