Oasis made their eagerly-anticipated return last night in Cardiff, but fans have been in uproar online after seeing what one lucky crowd member did.
It proved extremely difficult for fans to get tickets for the reunion tour, with thousands even seeing their bookings cancelled, but there were still more than 70,000 fans at the sold-out Principality Stadium on 4 July.
Although the set list might well have been leaked just a few hours before the first show, the general consensus online is that it was a fantastic gig and that anyone lucky enough to have tickets for upcoming shows should be very excited indeed.
Fans were already counting down the minutes until they could see the Gallagher brothers back together on stage, but were treated to a special opening act in the form of Richard Ashcroft, the former lead singer of The Verve.
The Verve are perhaps best known for their 1997 hit 'Bitter Sweet Symphony', which is undoubtedly their signature hit and one of the defining songs of the Britpop era.
However, it seems as if not everyone recognises the song, despite its frankly iconic tune and music video, as one fan had to turn to Shazam after Ashcroft performed it in Cardiff last night.

We've all had bad days where we can't remember the name of a song, but it seems as if some Oasis lovers were left disgruntled that they missed out on tickets to this particular fan, who was captured in a viral TikTok.
In the comments, one fan wrote: "This is who I lost my tickets for."
Another said: "How are you going to an Oasis gig not knowing Bitter Sweet Symphony?"
A third commented: "Actually disgusted that real fans of The Verve and Oasis weren’t able to get tickets and you have people like this in the crowd that are Shazaming their songs."
Even Jedward got into the argument, saying: "If you don’t know Bitter Sweet Symphony we can’t be friends."

Other commenters stuck up for her, saying: "Good for her. She’s probably hearing it for the first time in her life. I wish I had that experience, best song in the world next to Wonderwall."
Another said: "The song was released in 1997, not everyone is going to know the song. Grow up."
