Fans convinced band will be Oasis support act after they gave a huge hint

Fans are eager to get Oasis tickets and find out who will be supporting the Manchester band while on their first tour in 15 years

Those with Oasis fever, which is pretty much the entire UK population by this point, are desperate to get their hands on tickets for the band's recently announced reunion tour across the country and Ireland.

And the fanbase's euphoria at Liam and Noel Gallagher finally burying the hatchet has lead to one important question - who will support Oasis on their first tour since 2009?

The Gallagher brothers were last on stage together back in 2009, with Noel dramatically quitting the band ahead of their headline slot at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

It marked an end to one of the greatest bands to ever come out of the UK, with both brothers embarking on hugely successful individual solo careers in the years after.

But it's now time to get the band back together, with the Mancunians meeting up in secret earlier this summer for a photoshoot that would be used to confirm the reunion was officially on.

A total of 17 tour dates have been announced across the UK and Ireland for 2025; up from an original 14 after the band added new gigs to cope with demand.

Over one million tickets will be up for grabs, with more than four times that number set to try their chances, according to reports.

Everyone will be hoping to beat the madness of Saturday's (31 August) general sale, though, with all fingers and toes crossed for access to the presale taking place on Friday (30 August).

With tickets rumoured to be around £140, according to the Manchester Evening News, Oasis fans are expecting a blockbuster supporting line-up for the Britpop superstars.

And some fans have been left convinced over who one of the big names will be playing on stage before Oasis.

Last Sunday (25 August), British rock band Blossoms played to a huge crowd at Manchester's Wythenshawe Park.

The band, which hails from Stockport, played a cover of Oasis' huge tune 'Half The World Away'. A belter, we can all agree.

But it was a moment after the band stopped playing and the lights went dark on the stage that has fans convinced Blossoms will be teaming up with Oasis next year.

Immediately after the show, the now iconic teaser shared by Oasis, Liam, and Noel with the date 27/8/24 and '8am' was broadcast on the screens.

Obviously we all know now this was alluding to the announcement of Oasis' return but fans are convinced that Blossoms must be part of the plans given their promotion of the teaser, which is surely an indicator that the band knew about the reunion ahead of the public.

Responding to the speculation, one fan said: "Oh my days, this is everything."

Another posted: "Oasis with blossoms supporting, I will be there no matter what."

And a third added: "Blossoms support then. No way they end their gig by advertising a 30th anniversary release of (What's the Story) Morning Glory, surely?"

Given that Oasis are playing five concerts in Manchester, it'd make sense for the fellow city rockers to join the bill, especially following the revival of the indie music scene in the north west in recent years with Blossoms leading the way in that time.

Other acts fans have said they want to support Oasis on the UK and Ireland tour are Sam Fender, The Lathums, Reverend and the Makers, and Richard Ashcroft.

LADbible Group has contacted representatives for Blossoms for comment.

Where can I buy Oasis tickets?

Fans will be able to buy tickets in the general sale from 9am on Saturday, 31 August from SEE Tickets, Ticketmaster, and GIGSANDTOURS. The Dublin concerts will go on sale an hour earlier at 8am.

Tickets will be limited to four per household, per show. Under 14s will not be allowed and those under 16 will have to be accompanied by an adult.

Hospitality packages will also be available via Seat Unique.
