Calling all metal heads, Slayer has announced their long-awaited return to the UK, with two massive summer shows to look forward to.

The American thrash-metal band last performed on this side of the world six years ago, as part of The Farewell Tour. To mark 40 years since forming, fans will be thrilled to learn that Slayer are returning to the UK to perform two massive headline shows at Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields and London’s Finsbury Park in July, 2025.

The two-time Grammy Award winners famously announced that they were calling it a day back in January 2018, but went on to perform live at a number of summer festivals in the US last year. Their upcoming UK shows are the biggest performances they have lined up in Europe this year.

A spokesperson from Festival Republic teased: "These are more than just concerts - it's a celebration of everything the iconic band and their fans have built together. A career-spanning set, stage production like you've never seen before, and a night of pure thrash fury that will be remembered forever."

So, if you’re keen to be a part of the crowd this summer, listen up. From UK tour dates and prices to where to buy tickets, find out everything you need to know about Slayer’s return below.

Where to buy tickets for Slayer’s UK tour 2025

Tickets are now available for Slayer’s UK tour. If you’re keen to see the band live at Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields on Thursday, July 3, then you need to head to Ticketmaster or Live Nation now. Standard tickets start from £99 and £170.50 for VIP garden tickets.

For those of you hoping to get your hands on tickets for the London Finsbury Park show on Sunday, July 6, then you hurry over to Ticketmaster or Live Nation, stat. At the time of writing this, standard ticket prices start from £104.50, with VIP tickets kicking off at £176.

Ticket prices are the same on both Ticketmaster and Live Nation, so it depends which sells out first.

Who is supporting Slayer on their UK 2025 tour?

If you missed out on tickets for the sell-out Black Sabbath concert, which Slayer is scheduled to support, then consider this a sign.

The thrash-metal band will be in good company this summer, as the likes of Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon, Hatebreed and Neckbreakker, will also take to the stage.

Visit Live Nation now to find tickets (before they sell out).
