When you think of Snoop Dogg many things may come to mind such as his rap music, the fact his actual name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. which if anything is cooler than 'Snoop Dogg' or it might be his association with drugs.
If there was a Mount Rushmore of cannabis smokers then he'd be on it, though the man himself says that Willie Nelson is just about the only person he's met who can out-smoke him.
Apparently it's the only time he's ever had to call a 'timeout', though while he did meet the one man who could out-smoke him with pot there are drugs that he reckons are too hardcore for him.
Appearing on the Full Send Podcast back in 2022, he said that he took DMT 'one time' and that was enough as it gave him an out-of-body experience where he felt like he'd looked death in the face.

He said: "They gave me some new s**t called DMT. I hit it one time. That s**t was like a n***a died man, and was dead and came back and looked at himself dead and was like 'ok, I done seen death, I'm cool'."

DMT, or N,N-dimethyltryptamine if you want to use a lot more letters, is a psychedelic drug which is very, very illegal in many parts of the world and has no medical applications.
It's been used in religious rituals for centuries and it can induce powerful hallucinations, and when Snoop Dogg was asked whether or not he 'saw God' during he trip he said: "Not God, I said death."
Describing what it felt like to be on the drug, Snoop, or perhaps Mr Dogg, started sinking down into his chair to give people an idea of the experience.
"Then I stood up, and I'm looking at myself dying like 'what the f**k is you doing, don't let that, do not hit that motherf**ker one more time'. You want another one? B***h, I'm done."
If a drug is too much for Snoop then it's probably best avoided as he painted a very unappealing picture of being on DMT.

"I stepped out of my body and looked out at myself for like about 25 seconds, then when I come out of it I was like, my fingers and s**t was like, I was like 'aaahhh, this is not for me'," he told the podcasters of what he was feeling like.
It just goes to show that however much you think you can take there's always a hit and a high beyond your ability to handle.
Naturally present in the human body in small doses, DMT is sometimes known as the 'businessman’s trip' or 'businessman’s lunch' because the high and the effects last for about 30 minutes.
Healthline warns that in addition to making Snoop Dogg have an out-of-body experience and think he was staring death in the face, DMT can also spike a person's heart rate and blood pressure, make them dizzy and agitated, give them chest pains, diarrhoea and vomiting.
