Taylor Swift reveals secret code she uses to speak to security ahead of first Wembley show tonight

The 34-year-old singer is constantly keeping an eye on what is going on in the crowd

Taylor Swift will take to the stage in the UK capital once again tonight (15 August) to kick off her five-day run at Wembley Stadium, and there'll no doubt be a few code breakers in the crowd.

Swifties make light work of deciphering her ambiguous Instagram captions and the supposed 'sneak disses' about other stars in her song lyrics, but not a lot of her fanbase are aware of the secret signal she uses to speak to security.

And it looks like she might need it while she's lighting up London for the second time this year with her Eras tour this week, as fans have already been warned that safety measures will be extra tight.

For starts, her Thursday night show marks Swift's first live performance since her sold-out gigs in Austria were called off after an alleged terrorist attack was rumbled by authorities.

As well as this, fans won't get the opportunity to copy fans of The Stone Roses who stood outside Spike Island to soak up the atmosphere and listen in on the concert without a ticket, as they have been warned they will be swiftly moved along.

A reminder on Wembley Stadium's website explained: "To support the safe entry and exit of everyone within the stadium, no one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium.

"Non-ticket holders will be moved on."

Swift, who will take to the stage five times before wrapping up the end of the European leg of the Eras tour, has a lot of love for her army of fans though and has been going out of her way to make them feel appreciated.

She gave a special nod to supporters who had an awful view of her during her run at Liverpool's Anfield stadium in June, treated truck drivers to a six-figure bonus and doled out - well, tried to - VIP tickets to pals she has met along the way.

And the singer's kind nature doesn't just disappear when she's actually on the stage belting out songs either, as she is always keeping an eye on what is going down in the audience.

If she does spot something concerning going on - such as a fan appearing to be in distress, for example - she has a secret code which allows her to communicate with security about the situation.

Don't get me wrong, she's an extremely talented woman who we've previously seen deliver instructions to staff at the venue before seamlessly slotting back into her performance, but sometimes, she needs to rely on a backup plan.

Swift, 34, revealed that she covertly communicates with the powers that be while she's on stage using none other than a green glowstick. I mean, who'd have thought it?

Essentially, she flags ailing fans to the security team on the ground, who then flash her with the glowstick to let her know that they have reached the person in need and are now dealing with the situation at hand.

During an Eras gig at Anfield on 13 June, Swift told the crowd: "We got help.

"So when you see that there's like, one of our guys has them, you see that green there? That means they have got to them, which is good."

Therefore, if you're ever at a Taylor Swift concert and see a member of security holding up a green glowstick, it means they've reached the person who's been spotted as needing a helping hand.

But let's hope its a green glowstick free zone over the next few days and that everyone has a safe - but still fun - time.

If the first lot of Swift's London shows are anything to go by, ticket holders are in for a treat.

She managed to get Prince William to bust a move with her hits, had a gaggle of A-listers in the crowd each night camped out in a VIP tent, and dragged her boyfriend Travis Kelce out on stage with her for a surprise appearance.
