‘Disturbing’ film Tin and Tina has ’scariest children ever seen in horror movie'

One film fan said it gave them 'nightmares for days'

Horror fans say they’ve been left ‘disturbed’ after watching the Netflix movie Tin and Tina, with one person claiming it gave them ‘nightmares for days’ - that’s about all you can ask for from a scary film, isn’t it?

The unnerving Spanish movie is set in the 1980s and centres on a newlywed couple Lola and Adolfo who adopt twins Tin and Tina from a convent, where a nun forewarns: “They are unique, special children.”

Unique? Yes. Special? Yes. Creepy? Also yes, because - with it being a horror movie - these are no ordinary twins and their mischievous games take a dark turn, while their ultra-religious upbringing leads to an obsession with sin and the word of the Lord threatens to completely upend the couple’s life.

Oh and also, let’s be honest - they look creepy as Hell, don’t they? I mean - come on:

Horror fans are loving Tin and Tina on Netflix.

A brief official synopsis reads: “After a traumatic miscarriage, a young couple adopts two peculiar twins from a convent whose obsession with religion soon disturbs the family.”

Tin and Tina, written and directed by Rubin Stein, stars Milena Smit, Jamie Lorente, Carlos González Morollón and Anastasia Russo and is based upon a 2013 short film of the same name, also by Stein.

Although released in Spain earlier this year, Tin and Tina has now landed on Netflix where it’s leaving people seriously creeped out and unable to sleep.

Taking to Twitter one person wrote: “Tin and Tina are literally the scariest children I've ever seen in a horror movie.” High praise indeed.

Another said: “Watched that Tin and Tina movie last night. It was disturbing and odd. But I think I liked it.”

One viewer said Tin and Tina gave them ‘nightmares for days’.

Someone else commented: “A movie hasn’t creeped me out as much in a while until now, Tin and Tina freaked me tf outtttt, anxiety thru the mf roof.”

While a fourth wrote: “Watched Tin and Tina on Netflix. You think The Shining twins were creepy... you ain't seen nothing yet. They utterly creeped me out, and I will have nightmares for days.”

Giving a solid recommendation, someone else said: “This might not get much attention cuz it’s in Spanish but there’s this new Spanish horror movie on Netflix called Tin and Tina… for any horror fans. It’s worth it and it’s good. Reminds me of The Orphanage, The Others and Goodnight Mommy in some way.”

If you fancy checking it out yourself, Tin and Tina is streaming on Netflix now.
