Emma Watson spoke in the past about why she was unable to rewatch an ‘uncomfortable’ stripping scene in a beloved film that was today added to Netflix.
Watson, who recently made headlines for her renewed feud with JK Rowling, has been outspoken with the fact she doesn’t have any interest in doing nude scenes or drugs in her films just to distance herself from Hermione.
The actor has however acted in some films slightly more adult than Harry Potter, one of which is a ‘10/10’ movie that many people consider to be among their favourites and has just today (4 November) been added to Netflix.

This saw her star alongside Logan Lerman and a number of other celebrity faces in Perks of Being a Wallflower, the beloved adaptation of a contemporary classic book.
The film, written and directed by the author of the book Stephen Chbosky, is a coming of age story focused on a teen boy named Charlie finding new friendships in high school whilst struggling with his past mental health issues.
The movie sits at 85 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.9 on IMDb, though it has a cult status even greater than these impressive reviews imply.

One IMDb review called it a ‘10/10 movie’, saying: “This movie is absolutely haunting, a brilliant cast of well known stars and smaller stars come together to deliver something truly unique in a world full of teen dramas… Truly a 10/10 movie.”

Dan Jolin of Empire gave the film a four star review, saying: “An honest, affection-hooking, coming-of-age drama which proves that there is life beyond Hogwarts for Emma Watson.”
Though Watson has often been teased online for her American accent in the film, she was otherwise widely praised, though admitted to being mortified by one particular scene.
The main characters of the film, including her character Sam, at one point in the movie put on their own production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

This generally means fairly racy outfits, with Watson saying of the scene: “It doesn't show but I was absolutely terrified."
She also stated in an interview with Radio 1 that she can’t watch either that or her kissing scene with co-star Logan Lerman, saying: “It’s really funny because when I watch the film back, there are a few things I can’t watch.

“I can’t watch the Rocky Horror dancing scene, and I can’t watch the kissing scenes.”
More importantly however, Watson has spoken about how important she found the subject of the film.

She said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter: “I’m just so proud to have been a part of it, and I honestly think that the world would be a better place if there were more people like [the film’s protagonist] Charlie.
“If I make one person feel a little bit less alone for a second, then it was all worth it — all worth it — for sure.”
Perks of Being a Wallflower is available to stream on Netflix now.
