After Jake Paul’s victory against Mike Tyson, former fighter, Joe Rogan tweeted a brutal reaction to the results.

So, it’s been a helluva ride since the 4 am fight between Paul and Tyson, which drew in immense amount of attention.

The pair battled it out at the Netflix-streamed event, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which saw millions of people watching it online - as well as around 70,000 people sitting at the stadium.

It’s been a bumpy ride and many flagged Iron Mike as the potential winner, particularly because of their interactions.

While Paul was all talk at their weigh-ins, Tyson took it upon himself to bring him down a peg by slapping Paul across the face.

However, it wasn’t meant to be.

The 27-year-old managed to get in 78 punches from 278 thrown (28 percent), while Tyson landed 18 punches from 97 thrown (18 percent).

This showed that their age difference really played into the fight as boxing fans were left disappointed that they didn’t get to see prime Tyson.

However, another person who was equally as upset was Rogan.

Rogan, who hosts the popular The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, and is a UFC commentator tweeted before the fight kicked off: “I'm getting ready to watch this Tyson vs Jake Paul fight like I'm watching someone cast a spell that I hope actually works. And I don't really believe in magic. But I want to believe.”

However, when the results were announced, he replied with three brutal words.

“Magic isn't real.”

Like many, the result came as a blow and it was a sad time for all who were in Tyson’s corner too.

However, the fighters seem to be on civil terms, with Paul even complimenting him out of the ring.

Even though the pair have since been suspended due to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation's rules, Paul admitted that he purposefully chose not to knockout out Tyson.

He said Tyson 'didn't need to be hurt.'

According to BBC Sport, he didn’t want to hurt him.

He was quoted as saying: “I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt.”

Then, when former professional boxer Andre Ward suggested that Paul had been carrying Tyson throughout the fight, he responded to that too, and said: “I did, a little bit.

“He wasn’t really engaging back; I could tell his age was showing and I have so much respect for him.

“After he slapped me, I wanted to knock him down and stuff but as the fight went on that feeling went away.”

All in all, he didn’t want to do something that didn’t need to be done, and just wanted to provide the fans with something good to watch.
