The Daily Mail has reported that users on X have been threatening to cancel their Netflix plans, as one person wrote: "Another £2 price increase from @Netflix… yeah time to cancel. They don’t bring out shows good enough anymore for that price."

"Sorry, but Netflix is not worth £19 a month," a second penned.

"My monthly subscription is now almost double what it was when I first signed up," a third commented.

"Back then, they had good first-run movies from various Hollywood studios. Now they produce their own mediocre content and we rarely watch it anymore. We are disconnecting this month, before the hike."

"Another £2 price increase from @Netflix... yeah time to cancel. They don't bring out shows good enough anymore for that price," someone else complained.

What Netflix has said about the price increases

A Netflix spokesperson told the outlet in a statement: "As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can reinvest to further improve Netflix."

LADbible Group has contacted Netflix for additional comment.
