Some Netflix users say they are 'officially done' with the service after not being able to access certain features.
The American streaming platform has come a long way after started out with a DVD-by-mail rental service for film fans in 2007.
Since making the switch to streaming, they are now the most-subscribed video on demand streaming media service with over 300 million paid memberships, as of 2024, according to Flix Patro.
Back in February, however, all subscription plans increased in price, with the the cheapest ad-free 'basic' plan no longer available for new subscribers.

There is an ad-supported option (standard with ads) which is cheaper than ad-free with 'all but a few movies and TV shows available', Netflix says.
It costs £5.99, a £1 increase from last year, and can be watched and downloaded on two supported devices at a time.

A few users on Reddit are complaining about not being able to watch Netflix's entire catalogue.
"How many more subscribers do you think they are going to lose because of this? I’m officially done with this disgrace of a streaming app" one person wrote, saying that the move 'made me cancel'.

"I canceled Netflix + Hulu this weekend," a second wrote.
While another added: "We are going full circle. Streaming platforms started out cheaper and were a way to get away from ads that you dealt with on satellite, and allowed you to choose what to play."
"I came here to complain about this very thing. Ad subscribers lose out on a lot of content. I’m about to cancel too," a fourth penned.
While someone else pointed out: "Well they haven't lost me though I certainly agree I was annoyed when I first found one of these movies.

"I assumed it was just certain current releases but I was scrolling through an alphabetical listing of all movies and I found some golden oldies that were locked as well which was really crazy cause some of these were movies that I'd seen on commercial TV, complete with ads."
As well as an increase to the 'standard with ads' opton, Netflix also put 'standard' up to £12.99 a month (a £2 increase).
This plan allows you to watch unlimited advert-free movies, TV shows, and mobile games on two supported devices at a time in full HD.
'Premium' also went up to £18.99 a month, which was a £1 increase from last year.
The main difference to 'standard' is that you can watch on four supported devices at a time, but in Ultra HD.

Viewers can also download on six supported devices at a time, and have the option to add up to two extra members who don't live with you.
Justifying the price increases, Netflix told the Daily Mail in February: "As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can reinvest to further improve Netflix."
LADbible Group has approached Netflix for comment.
