People say Vera Wang must be 'immortal' after 73-year-old walks the red carpet

People say Vera Wang must be 'immortal' after 73-year-old walks the red carpet

The fashion designer blew everyone away as she attended the BAFTAS in London.

Vera Wang has strutted the red carpet at the 2023 BAFTAS and people have been blown away by how good she looks.

The fashion designer wore a shoulderless white gown and black top and she posed for photos after arriving at the Royal Festival Hall, London for the glitzy event.

As images started circulating on social media, people couldn't believe she was 73 years old.

One Twitter user said: "Vera Wang seems immortal with her sultry youthful look at BAFTAs! If I could look half of what she looks likes, it’d be something!"

Another added: "Cool and unbothered."

A third wrote: "A reminder that this woman is 73!!!"

The designer hasn't been shy about attending red carpet events and showing off her impeccable style and appearance.

She similarly set social media alight last year when she attended the Breast Cancer Research Fund's (BCRF) Hot Pink Party in May last year.

She arrived wearing a glittering pink gown with a plunging neckline, which she paired with a matching headpiece, sparkling diamond necklace and black nails.

While some people might be shocked at how good Vera looks for her age, she is also surprised at everyone's reactions.

She posted a photo to Instagram back in 2020 of her in a sports top and short shorts at 70 years old and everyone was doing a double take.

Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: "To be perfectly honest, the real goal of that picture was [to feature] the hair clips I had in my hair. And hair clips don't exactly show up that well in a picture.

"So we really had to minimize whatever I was wearing and to keep the focus on my hair and those crystal clips. And the fact it became about my Palm Angels workout top was so crazy."

She went on: "I'm sort of the one that always puts the women I dress upfront.

"I am a fashion designer. And I have dressed some of the most amazing women over the last 30 years on the red carpet when they've actually won Oscars or Golden Globes or Emmys. And so I'm always the one pushing them out the door, and fixing their train at the Met Gala."

She continued: "Even my years at Vogue as a sittings editor, I created a lot of the pictures and was always behind the camera. So I always thought of myself as somebody who, in all fairness, was the creator and not the subject matter. So it was sort of shocking. I can't lie to you."

Wang also finally gave us the secret to her incredible appearance.

"Work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun," she wrote on social media.
