The creators of South Park have got a serious axe to grind with US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone clearly don't fear the consequences of poking the proverbial bear, as they fired another shot at the politician, 53, on Thursday (14 August).
It comes just over a week after the second episode of the 27th season of South Park - which was littered with jabs at Donald Trump, his entire administration and more specifically, Noem - aired.
In the episode titled 'Got A Nut', viewers saw a caricatured version of the Homeland Security chief lead a series of ICE raids, while the show also poked fun at her itchy trigger finger.

Noem's own admissions in her 2024 book provided Parker and Stone with plenty of material too, as the pair made multiple brutal references to her gunning down her own dog.
The South Dakota native revealed that she shot her female wirehair pointer dead after deeming the pet ‘untrainable’ and ‘dangerous’.
She wrote that the animal, named Cricket, behaved like a 'trained assassin' in her memoir and said that she reached her final straw when Cricket 'whipped around to bite her' one day.
"I hated that dog," Noem said, as per The Guardian. "At that moment, I realised I had to put her down. It was not a pleasant job but it had to be done."

She explained that she shared the story to emphasise that she is willing to do anything 'difficult, messy and ugly' that needs doing - in life, politics and any other area.
Given that she freely admitted to slaughtering her pet, the guys behind South Park reckon that jokes about shooting dogs are fair game.
Hence why 'Got A Nut' was brimming with scenes showing Noem firing shots at numerous pooches - including a service dog, and even Superman’s sidekick, Krypto.
But when she was asked about her response to the character assassination from South Park, Trump's pal instead concentrated on the fact she had been depicted as having a face full of progressively melting botox.

Last week, Noem said she had been too busy to watch the episode as she was 'going over budget numbers and stuff', however, she added: "But it's so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. Only the liberals and the extremists do that. If they wanted to criticise my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t, they just pick something petty like that."
Seemingly, the Cricket-inspired gags have gone right over her head - but South Park still aren't letting her forget them.
In a social media post shared on Thursday, the official account for the animated sitcom on X shared a post alongside the caption: "Kristi Noem does things that are hard."
This was accompanied by two stills from the 'Got A Nut' episode, which show Noem discussing her dog's untimely death.
"A few years ago I had to put my puppy down by shooting it in the face," it reads. "Because sometimes, doing what's important means doing what's hard."

Social media users appeared to think the follow-up swipe at Noem was absolutely hilarious, while one said they expect this season of South Park to be the 'highest-rated ever' due to it's government-critical content.
Another wrote: "Kristi Noem is so butt hurt over this."
A third laughed: "Kristi Noem lives rent free in y'all head."

A fourth said: "Thank you fellas, git em."
And a fifth chimed in saying: "Is it possible to marry South Park?"
The next episode drops on Wednesday (20 August), which is sure to be brimming with even more barbs at those in power in the US.
