Remember when Covid was a great excuse to avoid an inevitably awkward event? Well, Prince Andrew has managed to test positive at a very convenient time, avoiding the glare of the world during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Andrew - ninth in line to the British throne - has been accused of child sexual abuse by Virginia Giuffre, allegedly trafficked to him by the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. It all resulted in a settlement with Giuffre, with Andrew coughing up eye-watering amounts to avoid the case going to trial.
