What Is Prince George's Net Worth In 2022?

What Is Prince George's Net Worth In 2022?

The third in line to the throne is just 8 year old, but has already amassed a small fortune!

Prince George of Cambridge is a member of the Royal Family. He is the eldest child of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. This makes little George, third in the line of succession to the British throne, behind his grandfather Prince Charles and his father.

With his high rank in the line of succession, George’s birth was widely celebrated across the world. So with George having grown up living in the public eye, earning fans even at his young age, how much is he worth himself?

Prince George’s Net Worth:

As of 2022 it is estimated that Prince George’s individual net worth is around £500 thousand. However, just like the rest of the Royal Family, Prince George’s net worth shouldn't be calculated on just what he has right now. Instead, due to his position as a Royal and what he will in turn inherit from his family, his estimated net worth stands at a staggering £2.4 billion.

Prince George is only 8 years old (born in 2013), and embarked on his first royal tour with his parents in 2014. The Cambridges spent three weeks in New Zealand and Australia, and although the newborn Prince George only appeared twice, the BBC described the “nine-month-old future king” as the “star of the show”.

Prince George currently attends St. Thomas’s Battersea, which costs $30,000 a year to attend. It's a private school near Kensington Palace which his sister, Princess Charlotte, also attends.

Obviously as an 8 year old, Prince George is not working, however his net worth is a result of his future inheritance and the global effect he has and will have on the economy, in particular, his influence on the fashion industry. Both George and his sister Charlotte have highly regarded fashion reputations, with parents around the world trying to reproduce the outfits of the Royal children, a trend that has been labelled the ‘Prince George’ effect. An example of this was the £9 Sunuva T-shirt George was photographed wearing for his third birthday, which sold out everywhere in under an hour after the photo was shared.

Aside from this influence of fashion, George is also expected to have access to all the wealth that is afforded to the British monarch which will greatly further increase his net worth. As a future King, George would have access to funds such as the Duchy of Lancaster, as well as money from the Government through the Sovereign Grant.
