Recurring Stranger Things Actor Has Net Worth Much Higher Than Rest Of Cast

After first landing on Netflix back in 2016, Stranger Things has made mega-stars out of its young cast, but you may be surprised to learn that it's actually one of the show’s lesser known characters who has the most cash in the bank. 

The hit sci-fi drama recently returned for its fourth season, and has left fans seriously impressed.

Prior to the show’s debut, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp were all relatively unknown, but Stranger Things' popularity has turned them into superstars, while other cast members such as Winona Ryder and David Harbour already had fairly established careers. 

But when it comes to its richest star - the title goes to Paul Reiser, who plays Dr Sam Owens.

According to South China Morning Post, Resier is worth a whopping $75 million (£62,579,250). 

He has an impressive 57 acting credits to his name, appearing in The Kominsky Method, Mad About You, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Beverly Hills Cop. He also had his own series - imaginatively named The Paul Reiser Show that aired in 2017. 

Reiser has actually popped in two hit shows this year, he recently appeared in The Boys as The Legend. 

In a recent interview with Variety, Reiser admitted that until he was asked to star in The Boys, he hadn’t even seen it. 

He said: “I knew precious little about the show. I had not seen the show. I don’t think I’d heard of the show. It’s so funny to me that it’s getting this lovely response, people so enjoying the character and loving this season.

“I have friends who are passionate about this show, they just can’t stop watching it. But it’s so funny to me because that’s so not my world. In a million years, if you put a gun to my head, I couldn’t create something like this. But the fun part is to get invited and jump in.”

Alongside his successful acting career, Reiser has also dabbled in real estate. Back in 1998, he splashed out on a $6 million (£5,011,440) Los Angeles pad that he went on to sell to Dwayne Johnson for $29 million (£24,221,960) last year.

Following Reiser on the Stranger Things’ rich list is Ryder, who is reportedly worth $18 million (£15,034,320) thanks to her decade-spanning career which saw her star in a slew of hit movies including Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands and Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
