Ricky Gervais has a net worth of $140 million (£113 million) according to Celebrity Net Worth, the vast majority of which comes from his sitcom The Office, which proved to be a triumphant success within both the UK and the US and was the catalyst of his comedy career.

His most recent series, Afterlife, makes possible the combination of the cruel and harsh realities of grief with extremely witty and hilarious observations. After jokingly stating that he does it “for the money”, Gervais won the award for Best Comedy at the NTA’s in 2021.

Despite the ability to go on and win another multitude of awards in the future, in an interview with Reader’s digest the 60-year-old genius claimed that “I don’t want to be bigger or richer or win more awards, it’s all about the work”.

Gervais lives with life-long partner Jane Fallon in Hampstead, London, known for its wealth and population of celebrities, in a house that is worth £10.8 million, according to The Sun.
