Rod Stewart has hilariously responded to a meme of a grassy bunker that resembles his famous mane.

The iconic singer took to Twitter, responding to the No Context Brits account, which posted the photo last week.

He wrote: “F**k sake.”

Users loved that the 77-year-old took the comparison in his strike as one person wrote: “Good sportsmanship Rod”

Another said: “And here we have a famous person with an excellent sense of humor!”

A third person wrote: “Just freaking brilliant...post and response.”

While another commented: “I can't remember when I saw something on this site that made me laugh so hard!”

The ‘I Don’t Want To Talk About It’ singer recently made headlines again for his sense of humour for playfully poking fun at his long-time friend Elton John.

Rod posted a video on his social media mimicking the singer while fashioning circular-crystal glasses and pretending to play the piano.

He captioned the video: “Still love you, Elt. Rod xxx.”

While Elton hasn’t commented on the impersonation yet, the singers have playfully jabbed at each other for decades, even earning the nicknames ‘Sharon and Phyllis’.

However, the pair weren’t always close. In fact, their relationship got off to a rocky start.

When Rod covered Elton’s song ‘Country Comfort’ for his second studio album, Elton didn’t take too kindly to the rockstar changing the lyrics, as per Far Out.

Elton said: “He changed the lyrics, something I complained about at length in the press: ‘He sounds like he made it up as he went along!

"He couldn’t have got further from the original if he’d sung ‘The Camptown Races!'"

This wasn’t the only time the duo publicly feuded. In 2019, Rod labelled Elton’s Farewell Tour a ‘money-grabbing’ ploy that was ‘dishonest’ and ‘not n rock ‘n’ roll’.

In his memoir, Elton spoke of his long-time pal’s hurtful comments, writing: “He was accusing me of being dishonest about one of the biggest decisions of my life. What’s more, I thought he had a cheek, complaining about me promoting a tour while he was sat on a TV show promoting his own tour.”

But despite not speaking for a couple of years, the friends officially made up last year after Rod admitted he wanted to set a good example for his children, according to Smooth Radio.

He said: “I say to my kids, ‘A man apologises, go and apologise to your mother’. We’ve just made up as friends again, me and Elton.

“We’ve always been fierce enemies, as you know, through the years, but it’s always been at a playful level.

“But we had the worst row, like a married couple. It went on forever.”
