For a lot of people, it sounds like the absolute dream: smoking weed and making some pots with Seth Rogen.

Sadly, however, it remains just that, a dream, because the chances of you or I meeting the Superbad star anytime soon are slim to none.

But incredibly, two fans are set to make it a reality after they forked out $40,000 (£35,138) each to spend some time with the actor.

I mean, that's just dedication - and money - I don't have, to be completely honest. So fair play to them.

The purchase was made at an auction organised by Rogen and his wife Lauren during their annual Hilarity for Charity event in Los Angeles on Saturday (1 October) night to raise money for Alzheimer’s awareness and care giver support.

The glitzy event saw some of the biggest names in music and film take part, with John Mayer performing.

And as well as having a smoke with Rogen, there were also plenty of other incredible experiences up for grabs.

For example, someone paid $26,000 (£22,839) for them and five of their friends to get a cooking lesson from Momofuku chef David Chang, while another forked out $24,000 (£21,082) for a private skateboarding lesson for four with Tony Hawk.

And Mayer himself even put up a signed guitar and a private virtual concert, which someone snapped up for a cool $26,000 (£22,839).

All in, the star-studded event raised a colossal $860,000 (£755,471) for the charity.

Speaking at the party, Rogen joked: "Ten years we’ve been doing this. I’m still a famous person, that’s nice! This whole thing could have come crashing down, but no."

But while Rogen might be one of the first celebs who comes to mind when you're thinking of Hollywood's stoner fraternity, he's got nothing on Snoop Dogg.

While a couple of fans paid to get high with the Knocked Up star, Snoop actually pays someone to roll his blunts for him.

That's about as big time as it gets.

And earlier this year, it was revealed that the rapper had given them a pay rise to keep up with inflation.

Snoop D.O. Double G hired a full-time blunt roller back in 2019, in perhaps the most intelligent investment of his career - ensuring he constantly had perfectly rolled blunts on hand.

Speaking on The Howard Stern Show at the time, Snoop said: "Timing. That motherf***er's timing is impeccable. That's his J-O-B, his occupation. On his resumé, it says, 'What do you do?' 'I'm a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller'.

"If you're great at something I need, I'm hiring you."

The weed enthusiast also confirmed his PBR's salary and benefits, saying: "That's somewhere between $40,000 ($AUD 55,000, £31,000) and $50,000 ($AUD 69,000, £39,900) a year. Free weed – all paid expenses. Everything I get, he gets. I go get some free clothes, I give him some."

He later replied to a post from Uber Facts about the salary, confirming: "Inflation. Their salary went up!!"

Hit me up, Snoop, if any positions become available.
