Conor McGregor Shows Off ‘Wealth Belly’ Post Floyd Mayweather Fight

Conor McGregor has been a busy boy since losing to Floyd Mayweather in a relatively one-sided (but not embarrassingly so) fight in Las Vegas a couple of weeks back. Mayweather vs. McGregor, an event which wasn't understated or underhyped to say the least, may end up being the most successful pay-per-view fight of all time, and left both fighters with pretty hefty bank accounts.

Since losing to Mayweather, the fighter has announced plans to fuck about on a yacht in Ibiza for a bit (the natural step when your millions segue into the three-digit mark) as well as releasing his own brand of whiskey, Notorious.

However, he's also committed himself to a long period of utterny, which is shorthand for utter gluttony. Posting to his 20.1m Insta followers, McGregor has been boasting about his food excess since the fight.

The pic, which sees his partner, Dee Devlin, patting his little belly, says: "You need to get yourself a wealth belly, kid. It's the new six pack."

Looking at the photo, it's not really a belly, more a six pack with a bit of baggage, but by the standards of a man who has made a living out of canvas and cages, he probably is a bit out of fighting shape.

Another Instagram post shows the fighter scoffing his face on a yacht and hanging out with baby Conor McGregor Junior, while dressed in a series of bad loungewear numbers.

The UFC champ is currently serving a two-month ban from the ring since the bout with Mayweather, after he was declared unfit following a tenth-round TKO.

He can't train until early October and fight (not that he'd be likely to yet) until the 26th, but he'll still need to pass a medical exam to do so. In the meantime, he may as well put his feet up, chomp on fine Ibizan cuisine and catch up on the latest series of Glow or whatever Netflix series he's into.

With the fight last month worth around £500m ($663m), McGregor is set to earn at least £22m ($29m) from the dust-up alone. But with pay-per-view and other amounts taken into consideration, that sum is likely to end up being much, much higher.

Enough for at least a bumper pack of Walkers. Enough for a large McDonald's meal - at Dubai airport. Twice. Oh my.
