The long awaited sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has finally been announced! Everybody's favourite playable jedi Cal Kestis is back! Alongside his trusty droid BD-1, fans will be able to dive right back into the adventure playing as Cal Kestis as he fights the Empire and attempts to help bring back the Jedi after the infamous Order 66, which took place during Revenge of the Sith.

The game has been announced three years after the hugely successful Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released in 2019. Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming Star Wars video game:

When And Where Will Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Be Released?

It was at this year's Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim (an annual fan gathering that celebrates everything Star Wars) that fans were given the news they so wanted to hear. The long awaited sequel is set to be released on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X in 2023.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Trailer:

The trailer comes from the combined effort of production teams: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts and LucasFilm Games and presents to fans a glimpse of what could be set to come in the sequel to their 2019 critically acclaimed Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

This trailer shows fan favourite jedi, Cal Kestis, the padawan survivor of Order 66, return in a new adventure against the Empire and the Grand Inquisitor (a character the Star wars Universe will further introduce in the recently released Obi-Wan Kenobi series out on Disney Plus). As well as the game's potential antagonist being shown, the trailer also hints at a mysterious potential jedi ally, who is shown floating in a bacta tank.
