Rapper Swarmz is set to fight Youtuber KSI later this month to call an end to year long beef between the two.

Swarmz replaced Alex Wassabi who pulled out of the fight due to a concussion. Now Swarmz and KSI are set to box for the ICB World Cruiserweight title on August 27 in the O2 Arena.

KSI's manager Mams Taylor has said the pair fell out with each other in 2020 while working on the song Houdini which hit No. 6 on charts.

According to Taylor, Swarmz was unprofessional and would often show up late or not at all for event. "They have a genuine dislike for each other."

Swarmz, whose real name is Brandon Scott, was heavily inspired by the Jamaican music his family listened to and began rapping with his friends while in school.

During his teens, the rapper was a talented footballer and played for the youth academies of Fulham, Charlton Athletic and Southend United. While playing for Southend, he had a short loan spell at National League South club East Thurrock United.

He later signed for Isthmian League side Wanderers F.C and In 2017, also signed for National League South club Whitehawk. Swarmz left football in 2018 to pursue music.

The 25-year-old started off as a SoundCloud rapper. His first music video for "Money" in 2017 gained over 200k views on YouTube.

His breakthrough single was "Lyca" from 2018 which went viral and led him to sign with Virgin Records.

The rapper is not new to professional boxing with a record of 147 wins to two losses. Of his wins, 143 were won with a knock-out and the remaining were by decision.

Swarmz has 1m followers on his Instagram, 15.7k on Twitter, and 10.8k subscribers on YouTube at the time of writing. He is based in South East London.
