Taylor Swift reunites with Taylor Lautner following the release of her new music video

Taylor Swift reunites with Taylor Lautner following the release of her new music video

The singer debuted her new music video to the song ‘I Can See You’ over the weekend, which stars the Twilight actor.

Taylor Swift has stunned fans by inviting her ex Taylor Lautner onstage during her Era’s Tour in Kansas City.

Well, if you want lessons on staying friends with your ex, just ask the pop singer and Twilight star.

The singer debuted her new music video to the song ‘I Can See You’ to the audience over the weekend, as she invited Joey King and Presley Cash - who star in the video - onstage.

However, the You Belong With Me singer saved her best surprise until last when she invited her former flame to join them.

“There is someone else here ... he was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album,” Swift told her adoring fans.

“I wanna say that he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video. He didn’t have a stunt double,” she added.

“It’s insane. It’s absolutely crazy what he’s capable of. And he and his wife have become some of my closest friends."

Swift adds that it’s ‘convenient’ that they all share the ‘same first name’.

At this point, the Swifties are absolutely on the edge of their seats.

Lautner then enters the stage by doing a cartwheel before a backflip and hugging the singer - you know, just your usual greeting.

The actor then took the mic and thanked Swift for allowing him an opportunity to also appear in her music video.

“We had so much fun making this video. Taylor, thank you for having me and all of us,” he said.

“I just wanna say ... I respect you so much. Not for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer, but truly for the human you are.

“You are gracious, humble, you are kind and I’m honoured to know you.”

The mutual respect that these two exes have for each other is simply divine.

My ex is currently on a dirt bike somewhere rocking a filthy mo, and he will absolutely not have the pleasure of starring in my inevitable music video - so kudos to these two for being so mature.

As Lautner wrapped his speech, all four embraced onstage as the crowd went ballistic.

The two Taylors dated back in 2009, with many fans believing that Swift wrote the song Back to December about the actor.
