There will be people far and wide still laughing at the moment Amanda Henderson gave Greta Thunberg a new name. But now it seems the Casualty actor has been given the nod of approval by the 17-year-old climate activist herself after the youngster changed her name on Twitter to 'Sharon'.

Henderson, 33, who plays Robyn Miller in the BBC hospital drama, was asked a question as she appeared on Celebrity Mastermind about Greta and her book No One is Too Small to Make a Difference, which was released last year.

Quiz master John Humphries asked the actor: "The 2019 book entitled No One is Too Small to Make a Difference is a collection of speeches made by a Swedish climate change activist. What's her name?"

A stumped Henderson simply shook her head, saying: "Sharon?"

The clip, and of course the story in general, has gone viral and while Greta didn't address it directly (maybe because it was her 17th birthday on Friday - happy birthday, mate), she instead changed her Twitter name accordingly and we approve.

Greta did thank fans for their birthday wishes with many responding to her name change.

One wrote: "I didn't think I could admire you any more - and then I saw your name change. Happy birthday, Sharon!" Another added: "Oh thank you Sharon, that's brightened my evening!"

A third commented: "Happy birthday Shazza! Keep up the good work mate."

The clip from Celebrity Mastermind was shared online by a Twitter user called Mark Smith, who wrote: "2020 is cancelled."

Another person tweeted: "2020 has already peaked. Might as well just give her the Mastermind trophy now," while a third added: "Sharon has to be best quiz answer in 2020. Great start to the decade."

It's fair to assume that Henderson wasn't being serious with her answer, having smashed her specialist subject about songs from animated Disney films from 1989-1999 - it was likely more of a 'don't know, don't care' kind of vibe. And frankly, it's brilliant.
