Nicolas Cage has tied the knot for a fifth time, marrying Riko Shibata at a ceremony in a Las Vegas hotel.
The 57-year-old star of Wild at Heart and Face/Off wed 26-year-old Shibata in a small ceremony at the Wynn Hotel that was attended by his son and ex-wife.
The Academy Award winner confirmed the marriage to E! News, saying in a statement: "It's true and we're very happy."

The wedding actually took place on 16 February, a date chosen especially because it was the birthday of Cage's late father, August Coppola.
The ceremony saw Shibata wearing an elaborate Japanese wedding kimono, whereas Cage opted for the more traditional tuxedo suit.
His representative told E!: "They exchanged traditional Catholic and Shinto vows with poetry from Walt Whitman and Haiku sprinkled in."

Obviously, the isn't Cage's first rodeo when it comes to getting married.
He last tied the knot in March 2019 to Erika Koike, although that marriage only lasted four days.
Before that, he'd been married to Alice Kim for 10 years, and the two have a son together - Kal-El - who is named with Superman's real name.
It is believed that both Kim and Kal-El were present on 16 February.

Prior to that, he was also famously married to Lisa Marie Presley for around 100 days, and to Patricia Arquette before her
Cage was unable to propose to Shibata in person due to the coronavirus pandemic, and ended up popping the question over FaceTime.
Speaking on his brother Mark Coppola's radio show, he explained: "She left New York and went back to Kyoto, Japan, and I went back to Nevada and I haven't seen her for six months.
"We're really happy together and we're really excited to spend that time together so I finally just said, 'Look, I wanna marry you,' and we got engaged on FaceTime."

Then, he bought her a special black ring and put in the post to Japan for her.
Cage continued: "Her favorite colour is black so she wanted the black gold, and the black diamond.
"I customised and personalised it and I actually sent it to her [by] FedEx."

As ever with Nicolas Cage, it's elaborate and slightly unorthodox, but always interesting.
Shibata is 31 years younger than Cage, and is even four years younger than his first son, Weston.
A marriage certificate obtained by MailOnline confirms that Riko has taken the actor's name and is now Riko Cage.
