American Horror Story is back and so is Macaulay Culkin - and it already seems like this could be a winning combination.

The Home Alone star - who has just turned 41 (yes, 41) - plays sex worker and drug addict Mickey in the first part of new series American Horror Story: Double Feature, entitled Red Tide.
And from the off, it seems he won over viewers:

haha @IncredibleCulk is great in the new season of #AmericanHorrorStory. Macaulay Culkin adds sort of an odd, esoteric, sense of nostalgia that fits the vibe of this new season really well.

Sure, it might be a little jarring seeing little Kevin talking about sex and drugs, but we all need to accept that Culkin has grown up now (he's 41, remember).
Indeed, the famous former child actor welcomed a kid of his own in April.
Culkin and partner Brenda Song named their son Dakota after his sister, who died in 2008.
In a statement to Esquire, the couple said: "We're overjoyed."
To mark his 40th birthday last year, Song shared a heartfelt post to her Instagram account.
She said: "I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you.
"But firstly, that would take me an eternity and secondly, you won't even see this because you don't ever use Instagram. Hahaha. My unicorn that I never thought could exist, I am luckiest person in the world because I am loved by you."
