The 'Hey You're That Spider Guy' bloke has been spotted in the trailer for the upcoming Marvel flick Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Fans of the Marvel franchise might remember Zach Cherry who had a brief but memorable scene in Spider-Man Homecoming where he plays a street vendor who excitedly asks Spider-Man: "Hey, you're that spider guy on YouTube right?"

To which the superhero replies: "Call me Spider-Man."

Prompting our friend the street vendor to request: "OK Spider-Man, do a flip."

In response, Spider-Man does indeed do a flip.

Now, eagle-eyed Marvel fans reckon they've spotted Cherry making a cameo in the upcoming movie and they're pretty delighted about it, to be honest.

Posting on Twitter, one fan said: "Now there are the type of cameos I'm asking for."

Another joked: "I cannot f****** believe it. Best MCU character."

While a third wrote: "Can this guy get a Disney+ show?"

Another person wrote: "He better cameo in every movie now."

Others pointed out that this isn't the first time Marvel has made good use of cameos, with legendary comic book writer Stan Lee showing up in numerous Marvel movies until his death in 2018.

The late writer popped up in Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther to name just a few.

Lee even appeared in Avengers: Endgame which was released after his death.

Explaining how he'd come to be in the movie, which was still in production at the time of his death, co-director Joe Russo told BBC Scotland: "He doesn't love to fly, so typically we try to get him out for his cameos around the same time.

"So if we have other movies shooting on the same lot that we're on, for instance Ant-Man 2 or Avengers 4, we group his cameos together and then move him from one set to the next and kind of get him through his cameos in one day."
