Last we left off, the Clarkson's Farm crew were standing in a field as Jeremy declared: "F**k it. Lisa, we've got a pet cow."

Season two of the popular Prime Video show had followed Diddly Squat Farm's attempts to raise cattle, open a restaurant and grapple with the red tape from the local council.

Things had ended on a somewhat triumphant note, with Jeremy treating folk to a meal in his new restaurant and giving his right-hand man Kaleb Cooper a helicopter ride as a present.

In the meantime it sounds like he's been given the thumbs up to expand his car park but was told the restaurant had to go.

The Diddly Squat Farm Show remains a popular attraction, and might have been undergoing refurbishments, and in even better news there will be a fourth season of Clarkson's Farm.

This article contains affiliate links and LADbible Group might make a commission on anything purchased.

As for what's going on in season three, the Diddly Squat team have been continuing to navigate pretty much everything the world of British farming can throw at them.

Hot weather threatens Jeremy's crops, skyrocketing inflation makes the cost of supplies punishingly expensive and the farm has to deal with the fallout from the apparent end of Jeremy's dream of opening a restaurant.

Facing financial difficulties which must be plaguing all sorts of other farms across the UK, Clarkson's Farm season three sees Diddly Squat experiment with other ways to make money.

Goats, pigs, mushrooms, nettles and deer are all in the mix for possible new money-spinners for Diddly Squat, though for how it all turns out you'll just have to tune into the upcoming series which arrives at the start of May.

Meanwhile, Jeremy has a scheme involving the unused land on the farm, while a new arrival on Diddly Squat leaves Kaleb with a lot to deal with.

On top of that you'll get to see plenty more of Lisa, Cheerful Charlie and Gerald, and we can only assume that his continued presence on the show has been putting the subtitle writers through their paces.

Clarkson's Farm continues to be in incredibly popular show for Prime Video and thankfully we know that the show will go on into a fourth season.

Whatever happens down on Diddly Squat in the coming season it's comforting to know that it won't be our final visit to the farm.

The first four episodes of Clarkson's Farm season three will release on Prime Video on 3 May, with episodes five through eight following on 10 May.
