Influencer who claims to have bought 'Breaking Bad house' explains what he is going to do with it

Let's hope he's okay with people throwing pizzas on his roof

Streamer Adin Ross has revealed what he plans to do with the iconic Breaking Bad house after claiming to have purchased it during a livestream.

Back in 2008, the house at 3828 Piermont Drive would go from being a typical residential home in New Mexico to a TV landmark, thanks to Vince Gilligan making it the family home of Walter White and his family.

Although the series concluded in 2013, fans have remained obsessed with the house, with some even making pilgrimages to Albuquerque to see the White family home in person.

The popularity of the house has proven to be difficult for the Quintana family, who live there, with repeated harassment and flying pizzas leading to a massive fence being erected around the property.

In January 2025, it was revealed that the Quintanas were selling up and moving on, worn down by the constant attention from Breaking Bad fans.

And it would appear the home's new owner is planning on revelling in its popularity.

After being reduced from $4 million (£2.9 million) to $400,000 (£292,756) earlier this month, the house has finally attracted the attention of possible buyers – including streamer Ross.

Ross, who found fame streaming on sites such as Twitch and Kick, revealed that he'd made an offer on the house during one of his livestreams.

"I bought the whole Breaking Bad house," he told followers on Kick over the weekend. "I got it... I won the bid."

According to TMZ, Ross was one of 20 bidders who submitted a legitimate offer on the property, which is expected to be completed at the end of the month.

It has since reportedly been confirmed that the 25-year-old had his bid accepted, with the amount yet to be disclosed publicly.

What does Adin Ross plan to do with the Breaking Bad house?

The streamer has been pretty transparent about his reasons for buying the house, revealing that he's aiming to renovate the property into a 1:1 replica of the White family home.

"I bought the breaking bad house, I will do everything in my power to make the breaking bad fans happy," he wrote on X. "I will put my 100% into this project, making the breaking bad house 1:1, just how you see it in the show.

"Stay tuned because I want everyone to be apart of the journey."

He also repeated the same thing on a recent livestream, adding that the decision was 'hyped' by his father.

Ross will have a hefty project ahead of him, as the house was only featured in exterior shots of Breaking Bad. The inside was filmed at a production studio, and numerous people on Reddit noted that the home's interior and exterior don't match.

Ross will also have to contend with zoning laws when it comes to the house, should he want to transform it into a museum, as residential zoning laws in New Mexico would not allow for the change.

The idea of turning the house into a museum was previously floated by owner Joanne Quintana, who told local TV station KOB4: "We’re going to walk away with just our memories. It’s time to move on. We’re done. There’s no reason to fight any more.

"I hope they make it what the fans want. They want a B&B. They want a museum. They want access to it. Go for it!"
