Ant and Dec have revealed they were able to sneak in the viral '6-7' meme into last night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! without anyone noticing.

For those of you out there who are older than a mid-teenager and don't often come into contact with the younger generation, the '6-7' meme is apparently all the rage among kids these days.

And like all the other viral moments, 6-7 has since found its way out of niche corners of the internet and into our popular consciousness, with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and F1 driver Lando Norris taking part in the trend.

However, it would appear the life-cycle of 6-7 is now reaching its end, as it has now made its way to terrestrial television thanks to I'm A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec.

The hosts revealed they'd been dared to incorporate 6-7 - which involves saying the numbers six and seven while moving your hands up and down with the palms up - into last night's (20 November) episode and were able to do just that.

While talking about the campmates performance in trial, which saw them win eight out of 12 stars, Ant McPartlin praised content creator Angry Ginge for his ability to carry toads for 'six... maybe even seven seconds' while Declan Donnelly moved his hands up and down in a familiar fashion.

The moment of course caused confusion among some viewers, as fans of the 6-7 meme and I'm A Celeb viewers are unlikely to cross over on a Venn diagram, while others were torn on Ant and Dec's decision to do the move.

"Love you guys but please don't do that again," wrote one person on Instagram. "6 7 goes over most of our heads. Wtf seriously," commented a second user.

"My 8 year old was in bed and heard it and shouted 67 from the other room," added a third, while a fourth joked: "I was laughing my head of my daughter was cringing she thinks it’s cringe when adults do 6/7."

What does the 6-7 meme mean?

Listed as the 2025 word of the year, 6-7 is one of many examples of the growing 'brain-rot' phenomenon which has swept through the internet this year.

The meme has numerous origins, with people pointing to Skrilla's song 'Doot Doot (6 7)' while the hand movement traces back to a kid at an Amateur Athletic basketball team's game while moving his hands up and down.

As for the answer to what 6-7 actually means, well it doesn't actually mean anything, just like everything else on the internet these days.
