Ever since Baby Reindeer dropped on Netflix earlier this month, fans have been glued to its gripping and frankly terrifying story.

The show is actually based on a true events, lived by comedian Richard Gadd, who ended up being relentlessly harassed by a stalker, whose name (in the drama) is Martha.

The Netflix show focuses on how it all unfolded, including everything that led up to Martha's obsession - and the alarming events that followed.

The pair first meet after Richard's character, Donny, offers Martha a cup of tea. She becomes obsessed with the possibility that there's a connection between them and ends up getting ahold of his contact information.

Soon, she begins bombarding him with increasingly-terrifying messages, all through the day and night.

In total, Martha sent 41,071 emails, 350 hours of voicemail, 744 tweets, 46 Facebook messages and 106 pages of letters - and viewers have noticed something particularly concerning about the correspondence.

In each email, there's something 'disturbing' written at the end.

Many are pointing out that all of the emails end in the words 'sent from my iPhone' - despite the fact that Martha didn't have an iPhone and wasn't emailing from one.

"Baby Reindeer is so disturbing but the fact Martha makes the effort to type 'sent from iPhone' every time she emails gets me," one person wrote on X.

While another said: "Apparently all the typos etc are exactly as the real messages were."

And a third added: "Is anyone watching Baby Reindeer? I’m loosing my mind at how she types Sent from my iPhone at the end of every email but isn’t actually emailing from an iPhone. I know that’s not like a big deal on scale with everything else she’s doing but?"

Meanwhile, a fourth said: "Baby reindeer is good!!! Her always saying 'sent from my iPhone' when he sees her everyday with a flip phone!!!"

In case you're wondering, the title of the drama Baby Reindeer has a rather eery meaning.

In the final episode, Donny goes through Martha’s voicemail messages and in one, she names a baby reindeer toy as one of her most treasured possessions.

“I had this wee cuddly toy when I was young. Went with me everywhere. Earliest memory I have, I think, was Christmas time,” she said.

“This old photo of me, sitting with this paper hat on my head and this baby reindeer beside me. Anyway, this reindeer was this cuddly, fluffy thing. It had big lips, huge eyes, and the cutest wee bum.”

Martha calls the toy the ‘only good thing’ about her childhood and that Donny reminds her of it.

“Well, you are the spit of that reindeer. The same nose,” she added. “Same eyes. Same cute wee bum. It means so much to me. You… You mean so much to me.”

It’s not totally confirmed if this is what the real Martha called Gadd, as he told Vanity Fair when asked if Baby Reindeer is the real nickname: “I don’t think I can talk about that.”
