Warning: This artcile contains spoilers for last night's episode of The Traitors.
A former contestant on The Traitors has shared what is likely to happen in tonight's episode after the vote was split at the round table.
After the 'absolute cinema' of Wednesday's (22 October) instalment of Celebrity Traitors, we've all been left wondering exactly what will happen with David Olusoga and Mark Bonnar after they received five votes each after making a final plea in the Scottish castle.
Although both players are Faithfuls, which will no doubt lead to even more chaos among the celebrities, there's still a huge amount of drama associated with it, as we've never seen a vote this close before on the UK version.

While the murdered and banished players have spoken about the potential hierarchy in the castle, as the Traitor trio of Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr continue to dominate proceedings, there's also been a lot of talk about the strict rules that players need to follow.

As we prepare for tonight's (23 October) episode, which will likely begin with David and Mark discovering their fate, fans have been left questioning exactly how it will be decided which player goes home, after host Claudia Winkleman confirmed that it would be left to chance.
Fortunately, a former contestant may have just given us a clue as to what might happen and it could be very tense indeed.
Kasim Ahmed, who appeared on season three as the doctor who was voted off after being likened to Harold Shipman, recently took part in a Q&A on Reddit where he answered questions from fans about life in the castle.

One fan asked: "Do you know what happens if there is a tied vote and the re-vote ties as well (ie. a deadlocked tie)? There have been ties in other countries’ seasons, but they seem to have different rules depending on the country."
Kasim, who was a Faithful on the show, replied: "This is a great one, and it comes up in the rule book. First there's a pitch from each player, then a revote. If it remains tied then its down to a coin toss."
So, it seems as if David and Mark may simply have to choose between heads or tails on tonight's show, which will then decide if they stay in the castle or are banished.

This will take the total to eight Faithfuls who have left the show, and presumably the Traitors will be permitted to murder again in the night, which suggests that the odds are very much in their favour as things stand.
Although with Cat mentioning Jonathan's name and Nick raising suspicions of the young singer, perhaps we might see Alan take the crown all by himself, which could be where television reaches its peak.
The Traitors returns on Thursday (23 October) on BBC One at 9pm.
