Brand new Disney+ hack allows you to watch the best shows without a subscription

With the ever-rising cost of living, being able to afford to pay for the endless number of TV subscription services can become near impossible.

Thankfully, a new scheme will allow you watch all of the best Disney+ shows – all without needing to pay for a subscription.

This newly announced hack will let people across the UK watch The Bear entirely for free.

With season four of the hit TV show having just come out and being met with stellar reviews that praised the series as a return to form, the barrier of a Disney+ subscription will no longer be there for UK fans.

As well as The Bear, shows like Andor, Only Murders in the Building and a host of others will be available to watch, all without having a subscription to Disney+.

This is because Disney+ have announced a new partnership with ITV set to launch next week.

This will see Disney+ and ITV each host a number of each other’s shows on their platforms as a taste to viewers.

ITV will also see shows such as Mr Bates Vs The Post Office, Spy Among Friends, and Love Island appearing on Disney+.

The idea behind the partnership is that, after a taste of one of the platform’s offerings you will be keener to go ahead and get a full subscription to the other.

As ITV is free with ads, however, it offers a way for those who have wanted to hop on to watch the Jeremy Allen White cooking show but have never bought a subscription to Disney to catch up.

In Andor, ITV is also gaining one of the most highly rated series of all time.

A prequel to Rogue One, the series was ridiculed upon announcement, but ended up delivering two of the most beloved seasons of TV ever, all whilst requiring a very minimal knowledge of Star Wars.

Season two, rated 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, set a record on IMDb when the last five episodes were all rated between a 9.4 and 9.7 on the platform – marking the highest average rating for a five-episode run ever.

This has led the show to be considered a frontrunner alongside The Bear for Emmy awards this year.

The scheme will run from July 16, with Kevin Lygo, managing director of media and entertainment at ITV, saying: “Disney are fantastic partners with a brilliant breadth of content.

“This mutually beneficial alliance allows us to show our complementary audiences a specially selected collection of titles, regularly updating, that gives a flavour of the

range in our respective offerings.

“For us, this deal means even more great content for viewers on ITVX, and even more opportunity for viewers to find and enjoy our distinctive titles and services.”
