Emily Atack says Inbetweeners star got an erection filming sex scene on show
Actress Emily Atack has revealed one of her co-stars got an erection while filming a sex scene for The Inbetweeners.
The actress, 34, is widely known for her breakout role as Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the hit Channel 4 coming-of-age series.
Filming a show which focuses so heavily on a group of teenagers navigating their final years of school and first relationships, you'd expect there to be quite a few hilariously awkward moments between cast members during filming.
And it turns out there were indeed some red-faced moments for the show's stars, as Atack previously revealed that one of her male co-stars got a little too excited while filming a sex scene.

Recalling the moment during an episode of Shopping with Keith Lemon, Atack explained that she doesn't mind shooting sex scenes as you 'just get to lie in bed all day with a nice boy'.
"It's great," she added.
Of course, Atack was then asked the question on everybody's lips - what happens if an actor gets a little too excited while filming steamy scenes.
"Well do you know what they say, the men, when you're about to do a sex scene, they go, 'look, I'm sorry if it happens and I'm sorry if it doesn't'," she joked.
"Because they also don't want you to be offended if it doesn't happen, because I would be f***ing livid."
Fortunately for Atack, she didn't have much to be 'livid' about as one actor actually had gotten an erection while shooting a sex scene with her.
Atack has never explicitly stated which actor it was, however, its possible that curious fans could work it out for themselves should they wish to.
Alongside her role on The Inbetweeners, Atack has also appeared in shows such as Almost Never and Heartbeat.
Outside of acting, she has gone on to have success on various panel shows before launching her own programme, The Emily Atack Show on ITV, which ran from 2020 until 2022.
She also competed on the 2018 series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, eventually coming in second place behind former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp.
Most recently, Atack welcomed her first child with partner Alistair Garner. Announcing the news on social media yesterday (20 June), the actress shared a photo of herself and Garner with their newborn, a baby boy named Barney James.
"We have a beautiful son. Barney James Garner. All my dreams have come true," she captioned the adorable black-and-white image.
