The Boys fans left disgusted by X-rated scene based on 'most depraved piece of media ever seen'

Of all the things for them to parody...

When it comes to The Boys, there are a few things you can always expect.

There’s going to be gore, they’re going to make fun of Marvel, and there are going to be X-rated scenes that have you going ‘what the f**k did I just watch?’

Happily, we can report that the newly released season four of The Boys has all of the above and more.

The new season, set to be the penultimate of the show, has had one scene in particular leaving fans disgusted though - and it may be the most ‘gross’ scene in the show so far.

Whilst The Boys pulls parodies from different sources left and right, the second episode of season four draws from a movie that has been called ‘the most depraved piece of media ever seen’.

For film fans, it will be no surprise to know that illustrious title is owned by The Human Centipede franchise.

A fan once said that of Human Centipede 2, saying: “This sh*t was way worse than a Serbian film for me.

“Seriously what the hell. I have no problem with gore and extreme stuff but this… this is the most depraved piece of media I’ve ever seen.”

The Boys has never been one to shy away from depravity though, and this scene is no different.

For those not in the know, The Human Centipede involves a scientific experiment where people are attached mouth to anus in one long row – making a ‘human centipede’.

In the episode two of The Boys’ new season, we are introduced to Splinter – whose superpower allows him to make multiple clones of himself.

You’re probably seeing where this goes.

Kimiko and Frenchie walk into a sauna, and find Splinter in a human centipede chain gratifying himself – with the one at the head of the centipede masturbating to a picture of a new superhero character by the name of Firecracker.

Fans are understandably shocked.

One posted a comment under a post on the r/TheBoys subreddit, saying: “He doing that human centipede type sh*t what the f**k”.

Another said: “BRO WHAT IN THE HOLY F**K DID I SEE”.

A fan posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) to say: “The ‘human centipede’ in The Boys was absolutely bonkers. What the f**k.”

Others noticed, however, a hilarious move from Prime.

Whilst the scene plays, a piece of ‘trivia’ appears in the streamer’s UI saying: “Actor Rob Benedict wants us to remind everyone that he studied Shakespeare at Northwestern University.

“There is no contractual obligation for us to carry out this request. This is merely a kind gesture.”

How kind of them.

The Boys season four is streaming the first three episodes on Amazon Prime now.
