Gogglebox fans were just as horrified as the cast as they reacted to an 'absolutely grim' scene from Saltburn.

The Emerald Fennell-directed film was one of the most talked about movies of 2023 as it follows Oxford University student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), who is invited to spend the summer with his super-rich classmate Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi) at his family's estate.

Oliver finds himself drawn to Felix, who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for - let's just say - an unforgettable summer.

One of the weirdest and most viral moments from Saltburn was THAT bathtub scene.

By now, it's no secret that there are a number of controversial scenes in the movie - from when Oliver strips and dances through the stately home to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s 'Murder on the Dancefloor' to that bizarre grave scene, which sees Oliver crying on Felix's grave before suddenly stripping down to defile it.

But arguably, one of the weirdest and most viral moments from the film - dubbed the 'bathtub scene' - was when Oliver sups up some of Felix’s semen after he masturbates in a bathtub.

Now, following the latest episode of Gogglebox, we witnessed the cast get their first look at Saltburn and viewers were seemingly just as disgusted.

Watch below:

As the bathtub scene started, cast member Izzi commented: "That looks a bit murky that water," and as it progressed she added: "Ah ah no!"

Pete screamed: "The only person who would be licking my bathwater would be Colin (his dog)."

The rest of the cast were equally as stunned, as fans taking to X (Twitter) were also creeped out by the episode.

"I avoided Saltburn as much as possible and now I cant unsee that scene #Gogglebox," one viewer tweeted.

A second commented: "Had never heard of this Saltburn until now and... I wish I still hadn't. #Gogglebox."

"Oh f**k right off with this, absolutely grim #Gogglebox," a third added.

The cast were stunned.

"I need to move out. Having watched this with my mom will be discussed in therapy in years to come," another said.

"Moment of silence for everyone who watched #Gogglebox with their parents tonight," someone else agreed.

Meanwhile, others called it 'TV gold,' as one person said: "It’s so funny and disgusting looking at people’s reactions to the bathtub scene #Gogglebox."

"I'd pay to watch #Gogglebox watch the full #Saltburn with commentary," another amused fan wrote.

"Never knew I needed to see the #Gogglebox lot watch the Saltburn bathtub scene. Cackling," a third said.

Gogglebox continues next Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
