Kelly Brook had important plea to viewers as her husband responds to I'm A Celeb shower scene

Kelly Brook shared an important message ahead of her first swimsuit scene in the jungle, as her husband has now responded to the televised moment.

During a recent episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, some celebs in the camp decided to take a dip in the creek to cool off.

Brook, former footballer Alex Scott and EastEnders star Shona McGarty found it quite enjoyable until they spotted some leeches in the corner and made haste.

Obviously, when you join the ITV show, you know you’re going to be seen in your swimwear as the infamous ‘jungle shower’ has been a famed part of the series for years now.

But while Brook’s shower moment has just aired and her husband responded publicly to it, the former swimsuit model had issued a pre-emptive plea to viewers who knew they’d see her body on TV.

Ahead of entering I’m A Celeb, the former Page Three model, now 45, told the Mirror: "Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. You know, life changes and your body changes.

"And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look.

"You know, I am a very different person. I am older, but I am still strong and I am still fit, and that is the most important thing."

Brook also explained that her time in the shower would be more of an 'in and out very quickly' due to it being 'freezing'.

To be honest, she stuck to her word.

Having been previously trolled for her weight, Brook has publicly explained that she embraces her curves and she always has.

The star previously said she’s 'always been a curvy girl' and is 'proud' of it, as having 'embraced' her curves makes her 'feel really confident'.

When people called her 'too big' in the past, Brook said: "I’m a healthy size 12. I’m not apologising for having boobs and a bum."

She’s confident in her body, which is something her husband remarked on after her shower scene aired.

Following the episode, Jeremy Parisi spoke to The Sun and shared his love for his wife of three years.

He said: "I'm a very lucky man to be married to one of the most beautiful women in the world.

"I know lots of people have been wanting to see Kelly in her swimwear, which is funny to me as she’s my wife. But she never disappoints, she looks stunning.

"I think she looks even more beautiful with no make-up on and I love seeing how happy and confident she is in herself. I love seeing her as Kelly Parisi in there as opposed to Kelly Brook."

On a side note, do we all 'wee in the shower'?

Because that’s something I’ve been thinking about since her shower scene came on the telly.
