One of the most anticipated parts of Love Island (for those actually still watching amid the World Cup) is set to kick off tonight (28 June).
Yep, it's Casa Amor time. But it's reportedly turned into a bit of a nightmare for the bosses already, as it's said one of the cast has had to be removed by the villa.
Gabriel Garland, 24, was announced as one of this year's Casa Amor islanders on social media. But following this, The Sun reports that ITV was allegedly made aware of a situation in his past.
While the alleged details are not currently clear, it's said comments began surfacing under social media reveals of this year's Casa Amor entries.

Garland will apparently still appear in tonight's episode of Love Island as he entered the villa before this reportedly came to light.

As a result of this swift entry and exit on the show and the speculation that has come with it, some viewers are criticising ITV for the casting.
"What the hell is happening this year? Who’s in charge of the background checks," one wrote on X. "CRIKEY!" another simply put.
ITV said to The Sun: “We will not be commenting further out of a duty of care towards participants.”
Garland is a model from London, with some users noting that they recognised him from TikTok.
He had described his type as: "Someone who has intelligence, emotional maturity, someone who’s confident but humble. I also definitely have a soft spot for brunettes, dark features and tanned. I’d say that’s my ideal type.”
When asked if he had his 'eye on anyone' in the villa, Garland said: "Yeah, I have my eye on a few. I’d say Priya and Jasmine would be my typical types, especially in the outside world. Obviously, they’re all very attractive, so I’m just going to wait and see when I get in there, get a vibe and see who I connect with.”
LADbible has contacted ITV for comment on the removal and the backlash to the move.

This marks the second Islander to have left this year's show swiftly, with George Knight exiting the villa after just days of his arrival.
Initially, it was stated that the footballer had left for 'private reasons' as he said he'd made the decision himself after news of a family member's ill health.
However, a recent report from The Sun claims that the he used this news to ‘cover up’ the real reason. It's claimed that while that was true, Knight was actually removed from the villa after receiving a warning regarding ‘unacceptable language’. It's claimed that he used an offensive slur.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
