Another Lucy Letby documentary is on its way, featuring never-before-seen footage and new interviews.
This time round, it will be a Netflix production. The streaming platform announced The Investigation of Lucy Letby this morning (22 January).
The disgraced nurse is currently serving 15 whole-life orders after she was convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill seven others (with two attempts on one victim) between June 2015 and June 2016.
Letby, from Hereford, was twice denied permission to appeal against her convictions back in 2024. The 36-year-old's final arrest came in November 2020 before she was eventually convicted of her horrific crimes in August 2023 in a case that shook the UK.

Netflix’s new feature-length documentary will feature never-before-seen footage as well as a major first with an interview from one of those impacted by her crimes.
The Investigation of Lucy Letby will contain new materials and testimony from the police who investigated the case. Plus, there will be new footage of the killer during her arrest and questioning.
But what really makes this documentary stand out is the contribution from the mum of one of the victims speaking about her experiences and involvement in the trial.
Netflix say: “This is the first time that a family member involved in the prosecution has spoken in a documentary.”
At 90 minutes long, the doc also includes interviews with experts and lawyers from both sides of Letby's case the streamer promises to give: "The most comprehensive look at one of Britain's most notorious crimes."

It was confirmed earlier this week that Letby will face no further charges over additional deaths and collapses of babies that were investigated by police.
Cheshire Constabulary passed additional evidence to prosecutors last year for consideration, linked to eight potential offences of attempted murder and one offence of murder at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
And at Liverpool Women's Hospital, there were another two allegations of attempted murder and murder linked to one child.
Lady Justice Thirlwall’s inquiry report into how Letby was able to commit her crimes on a hospital neonatal unit is due to be published in 2026.
Her crimes made the neonatal nurse the UK's most prolific child murderer.
The Investigation of Lucy Letby releases globally on Netflix on 4 February.
