If you're just about to tuck into the incredibly well-reviewed crime drama that viewers have dubbed 'better than Narcos' then you might want to hear about what else could come.

You've only got one attention span so it makes sense to stick to the best telly on offer, and in that regard, Snowfall is the show you should be looking at.

All six seasons of the show are available to watch on BBC iPlayer and that's a grand total of 60 episodes to enjoy.

Still, all good things must come to an end, and that includes a show like Snowfall, which wrapped up with a final episode last April.

That's just the way the cookie crumbles when it comes to a great show, enjoy the ride and hope it ends well before hopping onto the next obsession.

Snowfall may be getting a spinoff which shifts the drama to the 90s.
FX

If you really love a show you might work your way through it again, but what plenty of fans really want is more shows to follow what they already loved.

Snowfall might be your new favourite show but when it's over what will you watch next?

Depending how long it takes you, the answer might be a potential Snowfall spinoff which was hinted at last year.

If six seasons wasn't enough for you, Deadline reported that FX was in the early stages of a spinoff to the popular crime drama, possibly starring Gail Bean as Snowfall character Wanda.

The outlet reported that the spinoff would be set in 1990s Los Angeles, though that was reported back in March 2023, and there's been quite the upheaval since then.

There's been a writer's strike which led to actors walking out in solidarity, so a massive wrench was thrown into Hollywood's plans, and there might have been some potential shows nipped in the bud.

Gail Bean's character Wanda was rumoured to be the bridge between Snowfall and a possible spin-off.

As for what the existing fans of Snowfall think about the proposed idea of a spinoff, those who comment in the hallowed halls of Reddit have been a bit mixed on the idea.

One suggested it was the sort of show that 'will get scrapped', noting that the way Snowfall ended with their characters didn't really leave 'a foundation for any of them to lead to a spinoff'.

Others said the ideas mooted for a spinoff sounded 'boring', while more optimistic fans said they'd 'def be down' to watch more.

Meanwhile, if you're totally new to this party you've got 60 episodes of Snowfall to get through before you can start thinking about a hypothetical spinoff, so hop to it.
